Beautifully decorated villa in a quiet, leafy suburb. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals and save money. The nearby tram was convenient for exploring the city center.
The thin walls meant we could hear noise from neighboring rooms. The optional breakfast was not worth the additional cost.

We stayed at a lovely renovated villa for Christmas holidays. The apartment was nicely decorated and had a fully functional kitchen with all necessary utensils, which was great for cooking our Christmas dinner. The location was perfect, it was easy to get to the city centre by public transportation and there were plenty of shops and supermarkets nearby. the area was really quiet and peaceful, which made our stay even more relaxing.
The wifi was not working during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient as we wanted to stay connected with our family and friends back home.

All was great, no improvements needed.

The studio apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable; the kitchen and bathroom were very well appointed; the villa was situated in a quiet residential area within easy reach of transport links to city centre and central station. There was also a suitable range of local shops and restaurants close by.

I had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. The staff was helpful and attentive, and the hotel facilities were spotless and well-maintained. Getting around was easy as it was near to the public transportation system. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel location down the hill in a cozy district was an absolute delight.
Everything great.

The staff has been behaving as follows: told us that if we use the kitchen to cook our own food, we would have to pay an extra fee ; run after us, while parking the car in the hotel private parking, to tell us that we would have to pay an extra fee (which we knew about) ; knock at our door in the evening to show the invoice hotel room plus parking use ; called early in the morning to know if we were having or not our breakfast downstairs ; Very tight corridor to drive to the private hotel parking ; shout to us when we were parking the car in the public parking to tell us how we should park our car ; very poor kitchen facilities.

Very polite and kind staff and beautiful area. silent night.
Unfortunately, there were many many ants between nich of window and wall. I felt itch at my ear and touch, there was an ant. If you don't have car navigation, 120% impossible to find this hotel. If you have navigation but you came at dark in the night 40% impossible to find.

Although out of the centre of Dresden, if you have a car it is not a problem. This is a splendid old villa which has been tastefully converted into Apartment hotel rooms. The facilities of the small kitchen were exceptional, even containing a small dishwasher. The room was spacious with comfortable sofa and chair and extremely clean. We had breakfast in the dining room and at 9 euros was very good value including cold meats, fish, cheese and fresh fruit, yoghurts etc. The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to help us decide what to see in Dresden. There are several restaurants nearby within walking distance, one with wonderful views over the river and Dresden. There are also a large selection of restaurants of different nationalities around the square in the centre of Dresden. We would definitely return to Villa Ulenburg if we visit that area again.

Good size room, beautiful view, comfortable bed, clean, tasty breakfast, helpful staff
A 5 minute walk to the tram and then a 25 min ride to the city center. A necessary sacrifice for free parking though.
